He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London and Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN). He has had over 31 years continuous banking practice embracing commercial banking, merchant banking, discount house operations, leasing and insurance. He has been the Chief Executive of Intercontinental Bank Plc since inception (in 1989) during which he has taken the bank from relative obscurity to the position of a highly respected institution, both locally and abroad.   Mrs.Yetunde O. A. Ogunseye  [ Managing Director] Mrs Yetunde Ogunseye is a graduate of accounting from the University of Lagos (2nd Class Upper Division) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 after training at Coopers and Lybrand. She became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) in 1993. She was Chief Accountant of Honda Manufacturing (Nigeria) Limited in 1982 before moving into the banking industry in 1985. She joined the pioneering management team at ADH in 1993 as Assistant General Manager in charge of Financial Control and Systems. She was appointed Executive Director in 2003 and Managing Director & Chief Executive in 2004.   Chief Samuel I. Adegbite. OFR  [Director] A trained lawyer and seasoned banker, Adegbite has over three decades of banking experience. He started out his banking career at then Standard Bank of West Africa (now First Bank) and later joined National Bank of Nigeria. He was at NAL Merchant Bank between 1971 and 1974 where he rose to the position of a Bank Manager. In January 1983, he moved to Wema Bank Plc as Executive Director. By September 1983 he was made the Managing Director/Chief Executive of the bank. A position he held till 1998 when he was appointed Vice Chairman/Chief Executive. Chief Adegbite attended University of London, where he bagged an LLB (Hons.) degree. A fellow of Chartered Institute of Bankers, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and Nigerian Institute of Management, he currently chairs the Oasis Group.   Mr. Sheriff M. Yussuf  [Director] An accounting graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Yussuf holds an M.Sc. (Finance) degree from the University of Lagos. After a brief stint as lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic, Nassarawa and serving as auditor under the Lagos State Government, he started his banking career in 1987 with ICON Limited as a credit officer. By 1991, he had risen to the position of Deputy Manager, which he left to join Intercontinental Bank Plc. He is an Executive Director with Intercontinental Bank Plc and coordinates the Corporate Banking Division of the bank. Mr. Akin Ajayi – Non Executive Director Mr. Akin Ajayi is an Executive Director in Intercontinental Bank Plc. He was the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Equity Bank Plc; he rejoined Intercontinental Bank Plc as an Executive Director due to the consolidation of the Equity Bank Plc into Intercontinental Bank Group. Prior to his secondment to Equity Bank as Managing Director/Chief Executive in February 2003, he was a General Manager at Intercontinental Bank Plc. He is an Economics graduate of the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). Mr. Ajayi started his career as an Audit Trainee at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1985. He joined First City Monument Bank Limited in 1988 and left in 1990 to join Intercontinental Bank Plc and currently in charge of the National Conglomerates Division of the Bank. He was a member of the Executive Management of Intercontinental Bank Plc. from 1996 up to the time of his joining Equity Bank in February 2003 as its Managing Director. While at Intercontinental, he handled various responsibilities spanning Public Sector, Corporate Banking, Treasury and Business Development in the bank. He played a leading role in the establishment and successful management of Intercontinental Bank’s extensive branch network. He is an alumnus of several reputable International Management Training Institutions . Mr. Larry Ettah – Non Executive Director Mr. Larry Ephraim Ettah is the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UAC of Nigeria Plc. Larry joined UAC of Nigeria Plc as Management Trainee 1988 and subsequently held several management positions in the company, including Divisional Meals/Meals Component Director, UAC Foods Division, acting Divisional Managing Director Fast Foods and the pioneer Divisional Managing Director of Mr. Biggs Division. He was appointed Head of Human Resources and member of the Board of Directors of UAC of Nigeria PLC in January 2004 and the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UAC of Nigeria PLC in January 2007. Mr. Ettah holds a B.Sc degree in Industrial Chemistry and MBA (Finance/Marketing) from the University of Benin. He has attended several local and international courses amongst which are Unilever Regional Sales Programme, Bombay, India, Unilever International Management Seminar, UK, Unilever Advanced Marketing Programme, UK and the Executive Program of Michigan School of Business, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, United States of America.
