ADH is not in anyway affected by the circumstances that led to CBN’s intervention in the management of some banks, as our business is insulated by the following;
Independent and strict regulation of discount house activities by the Central Bank of Nigeria requiring daily, weekly and monthly rendition of returns.
Prudential requirement requiring discount houses as Primary Dealers and Market Makers in FGN Bonds and Dealers in Treasury Bills, to statutorily invest a minimum of 60% of borrowings/takings in Federal Government Securities i.e. FGN Bonds and Treasury Bills. This implies that ADH is a safe haven for the surplus sector of the economy.
